On 8-10 November 2022 the second VET-EAR RoadMap transnational project meeting took place at ComoNExT Innovation Hub in Lamazzo, Italy. Just like at the project meeting in Finland partners from Finland, Sweden, Norway, France, Italy, North Macedonia, and Spain were participating.
During the three project meeting days the participants continued the work with the various results of the VET-EAR project.
Como NExt is a Innovation Hub that was established in 2010 by the Como Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the aim to stimulate the economic and social revival of the area. Today ComoNExt is the reference point of the Lombardy Digital Innovation Hub, it is a member of the SMACT Competence Center and a certified startup incubator of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.
Below follows a short summary of how far the process with each different project result came during the project meeting in Italy:
Result 1: The guide, where the apprenticeship systems of the participating countries are summarized, was almost completed. Only a few minor additions remain.
Result 2: The work with this website, where the guide and other results from the project areas are presented, was ascertained to have started well even though there is still much to be filled.
Result 3: The participants agreed on the layout and the idea about how visual summaries of the project results, canvases, are going to be presented. Some work remains.
Result 4: During the project meeting, quite a lot of time was spent discussing similarities and differences between the different countries template agreement. It was agreed that some of the project participants should create a commonly Erasmus + template, which further ahead will be presented to the rest of the group.
Result 5: The fifth project result is to plan, and implement, an international apprenticeship day. Each partner will forward plan their own apprenticeship day, they are also going to consider how their apprenticeship day can be presented in this website. The apprenticeship day will occur at different times in the different participating countries.
Result 6: In the last project result, Mapping of apprenticeships, the participants before the meeting in Italy had created and carried out a questionnaire survey among employers in the participating countries. During the days in Italy the work on analysing and summarizing the results from the questionnaire survey was almost completed, only a few small additions remain.
During the third and last day of the project meeting, representatives from some Italian companies were invited. They received a presentation of the project and its results and gave valuable feedback plus insights on their needs in order to hire international apprentices. Thanks to them 😊.
Now the work with the various project results continues as described above and the partners will meet up for a next project meeting in Tetovo, North Macedonia on March 14-16 2023.
