Åland vocational and education training (ÅYG) provides basic vocational training in various training programmes as well as courses and training for working life (ECVET Level 4). We offer education for 13 different high school diploma-oriented educational alternatives, basic vocational education (180 credits), which are both practical and theoretical. We offer training programmes for electricians, house builders, mechanics, plumbers, hairdressers, business administration, chefs, waiters, caregivers, child leaders, IT-support persons, ship electricians, repairmen, watchmen or machinists. We also offer courses on demand from working life.
